Rosario IIs 4 v St Patrick’s YM 1

Rosario IIs blasted four second half goals to complete a fantastic turnaround after going a goal down to St Patrick’s YM at Ulidia this afternoon.

St Pat’s had opened the scoring right on the stroke of half time and their lead was all the more remarkable as they’d had a man sent off after 30 minutes.

Despite the numerical advantage it took the Roses until the 60th minute to draw level – Ronan Duffy getting the final touch on a deep corner from right.

Pearse McVarnock put Rosario ahead with a trademark left foot rasper before late goals from Niall Neeson and Paddy McEvoy put the gloss on a fine afternoon’s work from the Seconds who are now up to 6th in Division 3A.
